Ivan A. Wolfson, Psy.D.

Dr. Ivan Wolfson is licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in the state of Illinois. He is an adjunct faculty member at DePaul University. He regularly consults at various nursing and rehabilitation facilities and is Director of Psychological Services at several facilities/programs.

Dr. Wolfson is also a professionally trained hypnotherapist. Hypnosis can be helpful in the treatment of chronic pain management, sleep difficulties, smoking cessation, weight loss, relaxation, stress/fear/anxiety/anger management and performance enhancement.

Dr. Wolfson tailors his treatment approach to the particular needs of each individual. His training and experience with diverse treatment populations enable him to provide a wide range of clinical services. He works with individuals (adolescents, adults and geriatrics), couples, families and groups. Dr. Wolfson provides clinical therapy, psycho-diagnostic evaluations, psycho-educational training, hypnotherapy and professional consultation to individuals, groups and businesses/organizations. Dr. Wolfson has extensive experience in dealing with adjustment difficulties and phase of life related problems.

Dr. Wolfson received both his Master's (1991) and Doctorate (1994) degrees in Clinical Psychology from Forest Institute of Professional Psychology. In 1998, the American Board of Psychological Specialties granted him diplomate status in the area of Clinical Psychology.
