Dr. Robert Kohn is recognized by The American Neuropsychiatric Association (ANPA) as one of the 59 diplomates
who achieved certification in 2006 for the subspecialty of Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry.
Dr. Robert Kohn is an Osteopathic physician and is board certified in Neurology, board eligible in Psychiatry,
and has a subspecialty certification in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry.
Dr. Rob completed a psychiatry residency program, training at the University of Missouri in Columbia and
West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed a neurology residency program,
training at the West Virginia School of Medicine in Morgantown, WV and Chicago Medical School - Cook County, and North Chicago VA Hospital.
He studied nuclear medicine at the University of Illinois School of Medicine-Chicago campus and
holds a license with the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety specializing in Brain SPECT imaging.
Dr. Rob was Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology and Radiology in the department of Nuclear Medicine with the University of Illinois
School of Medicine. He served as two-time past president of the Chicago Neurological Society and as a consultant to the Special
Education Services of McHenry County. He is a consultant in Neurology and Psychiatry at Centegra Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry,
and also the llinois Chapter of Tourette Syndrome Association, Inc. www.tsa-usa.org.
Dr. Rob enjoys public speaking on topics such as Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, Epilepsy and Traumatic Brain Injury.
